The silver-plated steak knife in the América pattern is the same size as the dinner knife but has a pointed and serrated blade suited for cutting meat. Following World War I, America became synonymous with modernity and the world fell in love with its music, literature, art, lifestyle and architecture. To commemorate the across-the-pond admiration, Christofle named this 1933-launched Art Deco pattern of angular corners, beveled edges and masculine lines after the country.
